Busy Mom’s Stew Recipe: Cooking With Essential Oils Made Easy

Busy Mom’s Stew recipe is terrific for your family. I use quite a bit. It is a great stew for the entire family. Super simple. You can even use your Insta Pot to make it! So super simple it is a great way to start incorporating Young Living essential oils into your cooking. Yes, you can cook with Young Living essential oils. I can’t (and won’t!) say that about essential oils from other companies. Because they are 100% pure, no additives of any kind, they are safe to cook with.

Give Busy Mom’s Stew recipe a try. I am sure you and your family will love it as much as my family and I love it. Feel free to add your own personal “spin” to it. That is another reason I love it; this stew recipe is easy to modify to suit the tastes and needs of every family.

Ingredients:

2 pounds cubed beef stew meat (or other meat of your choosing)

3 tablespoons vegetable oil

4 cubes beef bouillon, crumbled

4 cups water

2 drops Young Living rosemary essential oil

1 teaspoon dried parsley

 1 drop Young Living black pepper essential oil

3 large potatoes, peeled and cubed

4 carrots, cut into 1 inch pieces

4 stalks celery, cut into 1 inch pieces

1 large onion, roughly chopped

2 cups cauliflower, roughly chopped

1 cup broccoli, roughly chopped

2 teaspoons cornstarch

2 teaspoons cold water

Directions:

In a large pot or Dutch oven (or Insta Pot), sear the beef (or your choice of meat) in oil over medium heat until brown. Dissolve bouillon in water and pour into pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover and simmer 1 hour. [If you are using an Insta Pot, follow the manufacturer’s instructions.]

Stir all the vegetables into the pot. Add the Young Living essential oils to the corn starch and dissolve in 2 teaspoons cold water and stir into stew. Cover and simmer 1 hour more.

To jazz things up, you can serve this stew over rice (brown rice for extra “healthiness”) or mashed potatoes. You can even go super healthy and serve Busy Mom’s Stew over smashed cauliflower. You can make it as “crunchy” as you like. Get creative. Have some fun with this stew recipe.
